What is seen, according to Adriana Lestido’s lens

Until April 20, Centro Cultural Recoleta presents the retrospective exhibition of Adriana Lestido “Lo que se ve (What is seen). Photographs 1979-2007, which shows 160 images shot by the photographer during almost 30 years. Lestido offers a chronological trail, entwined by the several essays she’s done along her career, with unique images. Photos that, with short texts, function as conducting thread of the exhibition. “Difficult loves”, “Convicted women with child”, “Teen mothers” and “Young and Children’s Hospital” are some of the stories among mothers and daughters narrated by Lestido thru her photographic essays.
